When it comes to shaving don’t use an electric shaver! Always use a fixed blade razor (Straight Razor, Mach 3, etc…)
These two pictures are of beard hairs under a microscope.
The hair on the left was cut with a with a Straight Razor.
The hair on the right was cut with an electric shaver.
